Students discover Hospilux !
✨ A look back at the second day of our participation in the "Discover Companies 2026" event organized by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
After a first day filled with insightful exchanges, we were delighted to welcome a new group of students and their accompanying teachers, giving them a deeper insight into the world of Hospilux.
With shime.go, Hospilux turns a small piece of waste into a real environmental impact.
Thanks to the recycling of our cigarette butts, here are the results achieved in 2025:
🚬 46,560 cigarette butts collected
💧 23,280 m³ of water protected from pollution
⚡ 127.65 kWh of energy saved
🌍 26.8 kg CO₂e avoided
Equivalent to:
🏊 9 Olympic-sized swimming pools preserved
🚗 703 km driven in an electric vehicle
🚘 124 km of driving in a combustion engine vehicle avoided
Every recycled cigarette butt means one less piece of waste in nature and one more step toward a more sustainable future.

We had the pleasure of welcoming students and their mentors to our premises to introduce them to the world of Hospilux. On the agenda :
🔹 An overview of our company and activities, presented by our CEO Jean-Marc Hoffmann
🔹 A full tour of our facilities : offices, shops, and warehouse — led by Tammy Ludovicy
🔹 An introduction to the use of defibrillators, at the heart of our commitment to health and safety, by Jeff Nguyen
🔹 A dedicated exchange session, including an exclusive interview with our CEO conducted by the students
This morning was also a great opportunity to engage with participants about our vision and our CSR approach, which guides our actions on a daily basis.

Meeting between Hospilux x ZOLL
We had the pleasure of welcoming the ZOLL team at Hospilux for a constructive exchange on our joint projects and a review of the past year.
After a discussion session at our offices, we continued the meeting in the heart of Luxembourg City, enjoying the Christmas market atmosphere to strengthen our professional ties in a friendly setting.

Worth noting: the trophy we received was entirely handcrafted by APEMH, using untreated natural wood sourced from sustainable European forests.
